Ted Jordan, BBA, CFP

Ted Jordan is the founding member of Jordan Wealth Management Group at ScotiaMcLeod. He has been helping families and foundations manage their finances since 1995 at ScotiaMcLeod. Over half of Ted’s clients are retirees, with the balance comprised of business owners, professionals and foundations. Prior to joining the financial services industry, Ted served as Chief Financial Officer of two hospitals over a twelve-year period. After becoming a Certified Financial Planner in 1999, Ted served on the national Board of the Financial Planners Council (FPSC) for three years.
The FPSC was established to benefit the public by leading the evolution of the financial planning profession in Canada by developing, enforcing and promoting the highest ethical and competency standards in financial planning.
Ted’s active community work includes having being President of the Truro & District Chamber of Commerce in 2008/09, and in previous years, Treasurer of the Colchester East Hants District Health Authority and Treasurer of the Truro Rotary Club. Ted continues as a member of the Executive of the Truro Chamber and is an active Rotarian.
Michelle Mills-Wood

Michelle joined ScotiaMcLeod in 2010 having come from another major financial institution after six years. She has completed the Canadian Securities Course.
Her passion is developing relationships with clients, working alongside Ted, helping clients achieve their financial goals. She assists clients with account opening, general account maintenance, general inquiries, transfers, on-line access, PACs/SWPs, withdrawals / cheque requisitions, RIF payments, RSP & RESP contributions, and various other account related issues.
Sherri L. MacKenzie, CFP Financial Consultant
As a Financial Consultant, Sherri works with you to review your financial priorities and to establish an integrated plan to meet all of your unique needs. She joined the Scotiabank Group®in 2007 as a ScotiaMcLeod Wealth Advisor, having worked in the financial services industry for the past 8 years at various top Canadian companies.
Sherri is an honours graduate of the Financial Services program at Nova Scotia Community College and holds the Certified Financial Planner and the Life License designations. She has completed the Canadian Securities Course, the Wealth Management Essentials course and the WME Financial Planning Course through the Canadian Securities Institute.
Sherri is an active member of her community as a volunteer with The Canadian Cancer Society and The Heart and Stroke Foundation.
Dean Gibbons, BA, FMA, FCSI
Senior Financial Planning Consultant
Dean has extensive experience providing financial planning advice to clients with complex and sophisticated needs and goals. He draws on the breadth of expertise that he has developed over his 10 years in the financial sector. Dean is a graduate of the Bachelor of Arts program at the University of New Brunswick.
He holds the Financial Management Advisor designation from the Canadian Securities Institute, the Fellow of the Canadian Securities Institute designation and is currently working towards the Chartered Life Underwriter designation. Dean remains active in his community as a volunteer with the Christmas Daddies Program, the Children’s Wish Foundation and as a member of Advocis.
Colin Hicks, B. Comm, CFP

Colin joined ScotiaMcLeod in January 2000 bringing with him years of experience in the estate planning and financial services industry, including experience in comprehensive life, pension, and distributor support. Prior to joining ScotiaMcLeod, Colin was an independent insurance professional and a specialist in the group and pension benefits area of one of Canada’s leading insurance companies.
Andrée Godbout
Senior Will and Estate Planner
Andrée is responsible for providing advice and guidance to Scotiatrust clients for their will and estate planning strategies. She joined the Scotiabank Group™ in 2008.
Andrée has obtained the Master of Laws degree at the European Academy of Legal Theory and is a graduate of the Bachelor of Laws program from the University of Moncton. Her memberships include the Law Society of New Brunswick and the Nova Scotia Barristers’ Society.

Arnold has over 20 years experience with Scotiabank. He graduated from Nova Scotia Agricultural College with a Degree in Economics. Arnold works out of the main branch of Scotiabank in Truro and is a commercial account manager for mid-market sized businesses.

Alex has over 30 years of banking experience. He graduated from Acadia University with a Bachelor of Business Administration. He is currently an account manager for small business working out of the main branch of Scotiabank in Truro.

Greg has over 30 years experience with Scotiabank, having served in a number of branches throughout the Maritime Provinces. He is currently the Branch Manager of Sales and Service, and Small Business Banking for the Truro Area.

Kelly joined ScotiaMcLeod in July 2001 and has successfully completed a number of industry-related courses including her insurance license, Canadian Securities Course, and Conduct and Practices Handbook Course. Prior to joining ScotiaMcLeod, Kelly worked as an underwriter for a large Auto/Property Insurance company.
